10 Day Vacation

Our 10 day vacation began on Friday, June 26th. After my one hour massage (which was amazing by the way), we drove to Dent to enjoy the beautiful weather at the lake. We went out on the pontoon and took Grace to Bahama Bay (the sandbar across the lake). That night we went to Grandpa and Grandma Braukmann's and spent the rest of the weekend there. On Sunday, we went to church with grandpa and grandma and went to a silent auction for Jake Perela. On Sunday night, Jake drove back to Grand Rapids to work (boo) and I went back to the lake with Grace. We enjoyed more pontooning and went to visit Great Grandma Agness on Wednesday moring. We took lots of pictures with grandma and had a wonderful time visiting. We were excited to have Jake back Wednesday night. Auntie Audrey and Uncle Nate were also at my parents house on Wednesday evening for supper. On Thursday, we spent more time on the pontoon and at the lake and Thursday night, we went to Andy and Marcie's for supper. Everyone was at the lake again on Friday!

Saturday morning we went to Grandpa and Grandma Braukmann's again to have lunch and then headed to Daidre and Andy's for a 4th of July celebration. Here, Grace met Andrew and Lucas for the first time - there were babies everywhere! It was great to see all the aunts, uncles, and cousins. Grace was tired and ready to get some sleep by the time we left. After we put Grace to bed, Jake and I enjoyed the fireworks at the lake and the company of family around a campfire. We had a wonderful time!

Sunday, we headed back to Mills to be with Grandpa and Grandma Braukmann one more day! Kristin and Steven also stopped by with Breken to meet Grace. She was such a tired little girl after a long week she slept the whole time! We had a great time seeing everyone and spending so much time with family but are happy to be home again.

This morning we went for a long with with some neighbors and their girls (one who is only a week younger than Grace). She is now playing on her mat and talking up a storm!
